We produce creative works using tools like digital cameras and computers. The
Gallery is in its sixth year now, and our last exhibition included works produced
by each of the children based on the theme Favorite. They have produced
imaginative and creative individual works using the ideas of "My Own
Expression", and "My Favourite. When creating art with computers,
we don't focus on IT activities as such. Rather, the staff provides a background
or a method which is written into the software, and then the students
draw the pictures to complete their works. Through these graphic arts,
the students are able to enrich their sensitivity and to extend themselves
by creative expression.
In addition to the above, the Kohitsuji Center post-schooling group does
work with paper cutting. As well as work on making copies of the works
of famous artists, the students are encouraged to make their own original
colorful work.
